Why is school so important if you find it important at all? What are some benefits or drawbacks of being in school....

School is important because it tells you what you need to know so you're not a bum on the street. It can get you into college and from there, you can get a half decent job.
Some drawbacks are the way the class acts. It's the FOURTH QUARTER and we are yet to finish a science class! If the class would TRY, we could do a lot better. The sixth graders have caught us in math and they're supposed to be a year behind us! In my opinion, the only way to make the school better is for the kids to act better. The teachers can only do so much. They can't take us outside everyday or any day unless we act like we're supposed to. (I do have to admit that it would be nice if they could take us out a lot though.)
School is important because we can get an education and a "good" job when we get older. We have a lot of drwbacks like we do not pay attention in class. Even i myself dont sometime :) Everyone in the class is like gonna become a bum cuz they dont try. everyone in the school has to potential to be smart and get good grades but they dont use that potential. We act very bad and thats how our class has always been but we could still contain ouselves if we wanted. Everyone wants to go to the gym or outside (including me) but they wont behave. One student might tell everyone to be quiet but then they end up talking...
Thats only my opinion thought...
I think school is VERY important because if u dont finsh school you wont be able to get a good job, and if you dont get a good you cant make eny money, and if you dont make eny money you can not support your family
"if you decide to have one". But if you cant makey eny money you problly
wont evan HAVE A FAMILY so if you do not have a family you wont be able to have kids and if you do have kids you will not be able to support them.
So think about it, you CAN NOT evan work at mc donnolds with out your G.E.D so the only job you will be getting is digging diches or holding a a stop sign so i would not wont to hold a sign or be diggin the rest of my life and HOPE FULLY you wont wont to do that eather so pick good job or bad job good for he lol :)
and some of the draw back are the people that ack up in class so we can not get eny thing done for GOD SAKES WE ARE DUMBER THEN THE 5 GRADERS so how about we get our acts together and try to do good in school unless you realy wont to be a big fat BUM so pick bum or good job it not that hard to pick one come on its not that hard.

School has it’s pro’s and cons. It’s important but it’s not. Everyone says its the class, and it mostly is. Our class is rowdy. We’ve always been that way... I don’t follow the rules sometimes and im not afraid to admit it. It is embarrassing for the sixth graders to catch up with us, and eventually they will pass us. We do have to pull our act together if we want to live somewhere, and have a decent job and family. But you guys have to think about it, just because you guys like school doesn’t mean we all do.
Whatever we learn in school we won’t hardly use in our adult life. I’m not saying we won’t use it for our taxes or all of that other legal stuff, I’m saying unless we become construction people, we won’t ever use all this geometry stuff.
It would be better if our class could start behaving so we can learn. That would be nice. I doubt it will ever happen though... People do need to mature (including me) by a lot. We can hardly give anymore ideas, because all the ‘good’ people shoot them down saying we need to pull our act together, and anything you DO tend to listen to never works.
I would like to get a good job and make a good impression in the world, but schools just not fun enough for me to actually learn in.
If I had the decision of going to school or not, I would most likely pick not. Anything that is learned at school, i can just go on the internet, and learn it twice as fast. Besides, the two reasons I’m going to school is because my dad is making me, and friends.
So, that’s my opinion, it might be murky, but it’s easier if I spoke it.

School is vital because to get a good job and to be successful you will need to finish high school and college. So unless you want to be a bum like seth (haha) your gonna want to take school serioulsy and git'r'done.

~School is important becasue it teaches you everything you need to know in life, And it helps you get a job. But you can still get a job with out school. maybe not as good of a job then if you was in school. but hey its a job. like working at Bank of America, you can get atleast enough money to buy food, clothes, and pay rent. that is where my mom works so i know atleast that. haha =} but ya know. maybe i will quit school like i say or maybe i won't who knows, except for me...actually i dotn even know yet, i juss have to let it go slow. and then when it comes time i will make a choice to quit school or keep going.~

School is important in my opinion because we learn things. Some of the benifits of being in school includes going home with more knowledge than previously. Although, some of the drawbacks include the maturity level and the people who do their homework and want to learn, and then the people who are there to goof off and distract them.
I think our class would be more productive if we had groups with people on the same learning level as ourselves. You could assign something to one group and then go help the other(s) and vice versa. We might learn better with certain people, and be able to understand it better, too.
Maybe some of the chaos in the classroom has to do with the seating arrangements. If you put people by who they don’t normally talk to, peoole would be bound to talk less. If someone is bad you could give them 3 warnings, and on the 3rd warning you could either give them detention or send them to the office. Or......you could just not warn people at all, if they talk they automatically get detention or whatever.
So overall, I tend to work better with people that I can openly communicate with. I don’t really know how you would make the groups........

school is important so you can make money and be rich and own a mansion and have a nice car, and so you don't sound like an idiot
welll i really dont like school that much. but it turns out that it is important. like if we didnt go to school we wouldnt be able to read or write. we wouldnt be able to talk very well either. we wouldnt be able to count the money we need to buy things. accually we prolly wouldnt have money at all because we wouldnt have a job to get the money we need becuase we wouldnt be able to read or write to get a job. we woudlnt be able to talk very well either so if we couldnt read or write we wouldnt be able to tell the poeple the answers so we could get the jobs... = ]
